About

The hand behind the ground

M-The is the pen name of a Norwegian ground-works contractor — excavation, demolition, pipes in the ground, surveys on the hillside. Every person, place and event in the Deep Ground trilogy is invented. The machines, the methods and the ground they stand on are the real thing.

The books are written in English, set on an imagined fjord in western Norway, and built on one conviction: the ground keeps a true record, and sooner or later somebody reads it.
